Visa requirements changes with every country. If you are visiting Europe from the US a visa is generaly not necessary, however other countries do ask for a visa. Travel insurance is extremely important, it is not a requirement to get it for your trip, however it is highly recommended, specially in these times of pandemics and flight cancellations.
